Becoming Chaz is Opening Night at AMC Pacific Place at 7pm followed by the afterparty at the Sixth Avenue Inn.

Hussler @Pony. Get da funk at Pony with their monthly ode to all things “hussler-y” with go-go boys, Ade and some nasty music.

Grime @ The Chapel. “On Friday the 13th get ready to dance to DJ Skiddle all night long with guest performances by EmpeROAR Fabulous and The Kat Meow Project.”

Pride Prom- Masqueerade in Auburn. Green River Community College hosts a Pride Prom for the 16+ crowd. “This is a Masquerade dance so be sure to bring a mask! The color theme for the dance is Green, Gold and Purple.”

Women in Peril @ Annex Theatre. A co-production with Bad Actor Productions written by and starring Craig Trolli and Joel Steinpreiss that satirizes those lovely and awful Lifetime Movies of the Week starring Tori Spelling, Judith Light and Meredith Baxter Birney. Drag queens and go-go boys and late night drunken theater go hand in hand! 11pm. $10/Gen and $5/Students.

  • Girl Inside @ NWFF. 3pm. “Follows 26-year-old Madison during a crucial three years of her transition from male to female,”
  • This is who I am: Shorts @ NWFF. 4:30pm. Trans themed short films from around the world.
  • Queen Bitch @ NWFF. 7:30pm. French “noir thriller follows a desperate girl willing to do anything to change her luck and achieve her ultimate goal.”
  • Gender Bender Sing-a-long @ NWFF. 9pm. Sing along to your favorite gender bending pop stars of 70’s & 80’s.

 

Gay City University @ Antioch College. Presented by Gay City Health Project and its 16th year. Take classes and meet new friends in the day long event.

Black Tie & Sequins @ Fremont Studios. 15th annual dinner, dance and auction for the Seattle Men’s Chorus and the Seattle Women’s Chorus.

  • XXWHY: A Transgender Story @ NWFF. 3pm. Documentary explores a young transgender man and his girlfriend living openly in India.
  • Jewels of the Street @ NWFF. 4:30pm. Documentary exploring the sex workers of Hamburg, Germany; many of them trans Venezualan women.
  • He is My Girl @ NWFF. 7pm. French “wry, intelligent “rom-com,” with a leading trans character.
  • Translations Film Festival Closing Night Party @ Pony. Join the staff, pass holders, and fans for the closing night wingding after the “He is My Girl” screening.

Pride Idol @ Neighbours. The beloved annual event, put on by Seattle Out and Proud, returns in a quest to find the best live performers in Seattle. Weekly through June 19. Hosted by the vivacious Gaysha Starr.
