Marriage Equality Reaches the Book of Face

Fresh off the news of Facebook’s co-founder, Chris Hughes, wedding his long-time boyfriend, Sean Eldridge (Get that money, gurlfriend!), Facebook has launched icons for gay couples to indicate that they are married.

We are pleased that Facebook has continued to support equal rights and marriage equality but still a bit irked that most of the ads along the side of our timeline are for gay dating sites and Atlantis cruises.  You know we do have other interests, Facebook!!!
