Apparently it’s happened with some other cable providers nationwide as well, but DirecTV has decided to pull all Viacom channels from their offering – which means no MTV, Nickelodeon, CMT, ComedyCentral, Spike, VH1 or Logo.
It’s a free market, Viacom wants more money. But here’s a thought, Viacom – make better programming. People already pay WAY too much for cable service as it is. Now you want DirecTV customers (and customers of other providers as well…) to pay more?
But, for us at SGS, not having Logo is kind of a pain in the ass. But, I have an internet connection. That’s where media is consumed now.
All the same, RuPaul encourages you to whip out your library cards and let DirecTV know what you think!
